Congratulations to all participants of our 1st Annual Mesa Cup in their win against Blacklake!
The event got started with a skins game at The Challenge Course. Ben Smithers won the only skin after Scotty Andrews came in with 5 birdies to cover everyone else's skins!
We played 27 holes at Blacklake on Saturday with 2-man teams competing in a Scramble on the Canyon course, Best-Ball on the Lakes course, and Alternate-Shot on the Oaks course. The Monarch Dunes team won 13-11 after getting off to a big lead in the Scramble. Blacklake made up lost ground later by winning most of the Alternate-Shot matches on the Oaks.
But Monarch Dunes increased their overall lead on Sunday in Individual matches played on Monarch's Old Course. A great time was had by all!
Next time you're in the pro shop, make sure to admire the Mesa Cup, which will be proudly displayed there "at least" until next year's event!
A Tuesday Night Toss Up on The Challenge Course begins on Tuesday, Oct. 28th.
